The Academy hosted a webinar on the use of CAE-systems for the training of medical professionals under the ERASMUS + "BOIART" program
A webinar on the use of DS ABAQUS and QForm CAE systems for the training of medical specialists was held remotely at the CIT DSEA department. The event took place on April 30. Licensed software from Dassault Systemes - SIMULIA Academic Research Suite, a world leader in physical process modeling, was purchased with funding from the Erasmus + BIOART project. In addition, in 2017, the department CIT received a free license for a specialized SAE-system QForm (10 jobs).
The webinar was attended by 7 participants from the departments of "Computer Information Technology" and "Computerized design and modeling of processes and machines."
5 reports were made during the webinar. Senior lecturer CIT, Ph.D. tech. Mikheenko D.Yu. made a report "Introduction to ABAQUS. Solution of an elastic problem ". The method of solving problems of modeling structures with elastic material behavior was demonstrated.
The SIMULIA Academic Research Suite software can be used to model implant designs, medical instruments and equipment.
Associate Professor CIT, Dr. tech. sciences Gribkov EP presented a report "Modeling the properties of materials in the environment of Abaqus CAE". During the report, different approaches to setting the properties of the material with and without heating were shown. The speaker answered questions related to the use of MS Excel software in data exchange to specify the properties of materials CAE-system Abaqus.
Senior lecturer CIT, Ph.D. tech. Sciences Altukhov OV In his report "Solving Plastic Deformation Problems in the CAE System ABAQUS" he considered ways to solve plastic deformation problems and examples for flat, axisymmetric and three-dimensional models.
The report on "Introduction to the CAE-system QForm 3D / 2D for use in the educational process of preparation of bachelors and masters" was made by the assistant of the department. CIT Kovalenko A. K. with a demonstration of the step-by-step creation of a model for calculating the deposition of a cylindrical workpiece.
Head of the Department CIT Dr. Tech. Sciences, Professor Tarasov OF made a report on "Modeling in QForm 3D of the process of deformation of workpieces with different tools."
The use of the considered software products in the educational process and diploma design within the BIOART project was also discussed.
